DANA Saving's Account +
The Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah For Orphans' Savings Account (The DANA's Saving Account)
Upon registration with the DANA, an account called the Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah For Orphans' Savings Account (The DANA's Saving Account) will be opened for every orphan with an initial deposit of B0.00 (Brunei Dollars : Five Hundred Only) credited to the said account.
Donating an initial sum B0.00 (Brunei Dollars : Five Hundred Only) and crediting it to the DANA's Saving Account of each orphan upon registration, constitutes an ongoing activity of the DANA. Such contribution in the form of saving account is designed to inculcate in the minds of the orphans the habit of saving or keeping money for their future needs.
His Royal Highness Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah has consented to grace the official Launching and Presentation of DANA Account on 18th Jamadilawal 1420 corresponding to 30th August 1999 which took place at the Berakas International Convention Centre.
His Royal Highness Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Biilah has consented to grace the Takaful Plan Official Launching Ceremony on the 23rd Zulkaedah 1420 corresponding to 29th February 2000 which took place at the Berakas International Convention Centre, 57 generous and philanthropist contributors comprising from government and private agencies, business and industries bodies, societies and organizations, charitable organizations, families and individuals have come forward as the inaugural sponsors for the Takaful Plan.
The objective of the Takaful Plan is to provide protection and benefit from the insurance/ takaful to the orphans by planning to save certain sum of money dedicated to create scholarship fund for the orphans.
Consistent with the object of the DANA in ensuring the well being of the orphans, the Takaful Plan will provide a form of protection for the orphans' future for any eventualities for the orphans or to their mother / guardian such as death, permanent disability and injury.
Orphans registered with the DANA are automatically protected by the Takaful Plan. The Takaful Plan will mature once the orphans have reached 18 years old according to the Islamic calendar (qamariah).

Speical Graduate Takaful Plan +
The Special Graduate Takaful Plan for Orphans (the Takaful Plan)
The Special Graduate Takaful Plan for Orphans (the Takaful Plan) is an Islamic insurance scheme, which provides insurance for both the orphan and the mother or guardian.
Operated jointly by the DANA and Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd (IITSB), the Takaful Plan provides basic insurance cover against death, full permanent disability and personal accident in the case of the orphan, and against death and full permanent disability in the case of the mother or guardian.
Apart from the insurance cover, the orphans will also receive a source of funds, namely from monthly contribution which will over time accumulate for their future needs, specifically to pay for further education.
With regards to the payment monthly installment contribution, IITSB has offered eight different packages for sponsorship depending on the rate of contribution ranging from the minimum of B.00 per month to the maximum of B0.00 per month as shown on the table below:-
Sponsors have two of the following options to choose from:-

They may make monetary contributions for the Takaful Plan of a certain amount without specifying the package, the number of orphans to be sponsored and the period of sponsorship. In the instance, the amount contributed will be paid into the takaful accounts of orphans, who do not receive sponsorship as laid out in the first option. The contribution to be paid in respect of these orphans will be B.00 (Brunei Dollars : Twenty Only) per month, which is the lowest rate among the packages offered by IITSB.
In caring for the educational well being of the orphans, DANA also provide assistance in helping for the purchasing of educational items and schooling needs to all orphans in the country registered with the DANA especially in preparing for the start of the school's first term. This project was initiated in 2001.

Anugerah Insentif Pelajar Cemerlang Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim
AIPC – DANA adalah satu bentuk anugerah yang dihulurkan kepada anak-anak yatim yang mendapat keputusan cemerlang dalam peperiksaan awam dan telah diperkenalkan dalam tahun 2008 sebagai salah satu projek jangka panjang DANA.
Objektif
Antara objektif Anugerah Insentif ini ialah:
- Memberi dorongan kepada anak-anak yatim supaya mereka menghargai kepentingan pendidikan dan menggalakkan mereka untuk terus mempertingkatkannya bagi keperluan masa hadapan disamping membantu mempertingkatkan taraf hidup keluarga mereka.
- Mengasuh anak-anak yatim yang cemerlang di dalam bidang pendidikan dan mendorong mereka untuk sentiasa menumpukan perhatian yang serius terhadap pelajaran mereka dari peringkat awal sehingga mereka mendapat kelulusan tertinggi dari institusi pengajian tinggi samada di dalam mahupun di luar negara.
- Menimbulkan kesedaran kepada anak-anak yatim bahawa mereka ini sentiasa diberikan perhatian yang wajar oleh masyarakat setempat khususnya untuk mereka lebih maju dan berjaya dalam hidup mereka walaupun mereka sudah kehilangan tempat bergantung yang utama.
- Memberi kesempatan kepada mereka untuk mendapat penghargaan atas pencapaian dan usaha mereka walaupun mereka dalam keadaan serba kekurangan.
- Sebagai menyuntik semangat dan galakan kepada mereka untuk terus berusaha dalam bidang akademik.
- Menggalakkan masyarakat untuk terus memberikan bantuan kepada kumpulan-kumpulan yang kurang bernasib baik di negara ini.

Projek Bantuan Pembelian Peralatan Dan Keperluan Persekolahan Bagi Anak-Anak Yatim Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim
Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim (Dana) telah mengendalikan Projek Bantuan Pembelian Peralatan dan Keperluan Persekolahan Bagi Anak-Anak Yatim Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim, dimana projek pertama telah diadakan pada tahun 2001.
Format Bantuan
Format bantuan adalah seperti yang dilaksanakan pada tahun sebelumnya iaitu dengan memberikan sumbangan berbentuk kupon yang bernilai sebanyak B$ 50.00 (Ringgit Brunei : Lima Puluh Sahaja) kepada setiap anak yatim yang berdaftar di Sekretariat Dana. Kupon-kupon ini dibahagikan kepada tiga (3) jenis, masing-masing mempunyai nilai B$ 10.00, B$ 15.00 dan B$ 25.00 bagi membolehkan anak-anak yatim menukarkan kupon-kupon tersebut kepada beberapa buah kedai mengikut keperluan barang yang hendak dibeli
Bagi anak-anak yatim yang dibawah umur persekolahan, kupon-kupon yang sama juga akan diberikan dimana kupon-kupon ini boleh digunakan untuk membeli barang-barang yang berfaedah untuk kehidupan mereka.
Kupon-kupon ini hanya sah digunakan/ditukarkan dikedai-kedai yang telah dikenalpasti oleh Dana iaitu kedai-kedai yang membekalkan buku-buku latihan, buku-buku kerja, peralatan tulis, pakaian sekolah, beg dan kasut sekolah serta kedai-kedai yang membekalkan keperluan harian bagi anak yatim yang belum bersekolah.
